Stellar was fidgety. It had been quite a while since she'd seen any other horses, and it was beginning to put her on edge. She liked being alone, privacy was always a good thing, but it had been too long alone now. She shook off her thoughts and kept travelling, warily listening out for any sounds, though most of them were just night animals making their way through the layer of leaves under the trees. Stellar weaved her way carefully between the trees, following the scent of water. She would've looked like a ghost horse to anyone watching, the moonlight made her pure white coat gain a strange glow...if there had been any predators there she wouldn't have had a chance to hide. She finally reached a small spring running through a tiny clearing nearby, and she stopped to drink, ever watchful. You could never be too careful.

don't be scared my dear...
night time. it was the most interesting time of the day. sure it was a scary time if you were alone, and there were predators around, but to be, i was fine, i loved it. walking by the moonlight was fun, if there werent clouds to cover it, and the way the wind blew in the grass, it was quite the thing to me.
thankfully the moon was shinning very brightly tonight. i followed my newly made dirt path down a small hill, my pillars moved in a fast forward motion of a two beat. dust flew up behind me like a trail, the moon made it seem ghostly.
then, something stopped me dead in my tracks. i slipped behind some trees and scanned around me. someone had come through very very recently. I waited, and caught the scent slightly, then stepped forward, the creek, that was what was ahead. i steppe past a few more trees and bushes, around another bend, and stopped once more. a white figure before me in the shape of an equine was there. a mare to be more specific.
you know it isnt safe alone at night.... it was the first time i spoke directly without giving a warning i was there or too see if i could approach her in the first place, it was oddly rude of me, but it was night and i wasnt thinking clearly. i was in a relaxed stance though, standing un squared, my ears listening for her reply, as well as what else was happening around us.
i will protect thee..

Stellar started slightly at the sound of another's voice, turning her head around to see who it came from. She'd heard the newcomer approaching, but hadn't noticed that he'd stopped, thinking he'd passed. Delicate nostrils breathed in his scent, dark eyes giving him a quick look-over. Her instincts weren't screaming at her to run, they found no danger here, so she relaxed, turning fully to face the stallion before her. "It isn't, but sometimes alone is the only choice," Stellar replied in her musical tones, the corners of her eyes crinkling slightly, what would have been a smile if she'd been able.
