Money burning a hole in your pocket? Passport collecting dust in your wallet? Up for a ton of fun? Happen to like living in a hellish nightmare? Love new Pokemon with razor sharp claws that can tear you to bits?
Yes?
Maybe you should take a trip to Remoor.
Lands scarred by war will offer you a real-life exhibit of a post-apocalyptic atmosphere. Your lungs will be filled with our irradiated smog as you breathe in. That’s only the beginning!
Other Sights:
•A swamp filled with brackish water. The wonderful smell of rotted wood and decay flow by on warm humid breezes. Pokemon from hell lurk under the water, tentacles, and many eyes watching you from the shadows. Broken canisters of radioactive materials offer benches for the tired traveler (or artist). Doesn’t it just make you want to dive in?
• Decay ridden cities lay littered about the landscape, none more wonderful than our Fantasma. Scorch marks, and broken war machines, sit silently next to broken skyscrapers. Twisted rods of metal wrap around shattered telephone poles, as a few dirty refugees scarper to and fro under the rubble. The once black-tar road is now nothing more then a serene jumble of rocks for your exploration. An altar to the wonders that are war! Perhaps even better than that! Unlike all those other museums, there is no price for admission!
• Those not really your thing? We have much more to offer. You don’t like sleeping under the stars? Well--you can always visit Nada Citadel . Most of the region’s population squeezed into a single huge building, a triumph of modern society, the last place mostly untouched by destruction. People mill about from pizza place, to bar, to casino; all amongst piles of garbage and nasty pickpockets. But, it is where all the life is at.
There are also many things for you to do:
Such as:
•Gamble. Nada’s Casino is one of the busiest in the world. Come on in, sit on down~! Watch as your eyes grow heavy, and you throw your entire life savings into rigged games! Have a ball! But, be sure to pay your bills, no one wants to break your limbs.
•Drinking more your style? You like dancing to ear shattering music? The region is brimming with bars and nightclubs, for the depressed citizens to drink their fears away. Try the “Pits” operated by a blind man, or the “Ludicolo Boogie”. Just never leave your drink unattended.
•Family vacation? Try the Ranch just outside of Nada Citadel. Although it happens to be rather boring, it is safe enough. A dusty racetrack, offers a chance of fame for many jockeys. A serene little lake, offers hours of mind-numbing fishing for your boredom. A shelter for orphaned animals, gives you the opportunity to add another dysfunctional member to your family. Lastly, a steaming hot-spring, and spa offer a chance for mom to get away from all her wailing children.
The people you meet during your stay in Remoor will affect your mental state for a lifetime!
People to Meet: •Members of the wicked, and wealthy Pravus corporation. These include: a creepy little ghost girl who can walk through walls, an Seviper-morph assassin with a bow in her hair, a cold-hearted mutt of a mutant, and a giant of a man who is almost the perfect soldier. One of the region’s very busy therapists, one who resembles a mummy, also calls this side home.
•Rangers. These idiots are the vigilantes of Remoor. They preach sunshine, and rainbows--and attempt to stop the apocalypse with the goodness of their hearts. The cops (which work for Pravus ) are constantly on their tails. These include, a gambling addict, a coffee- addicted man (with his under aged girlfriend), and a dark-dressed young man who loves Skitties.
•Of course, there are normal citizens. Fast-food workers. There is also a shy-young girl, who lives in an abandoned barn--with some nasty guardians. You could always play doctor -- with the under-cover bar-tender at the pits. Or even, have a date with the young boy with seizures.
So much to do~ so little time! Remember, all tickets are one way.
